New to HYVE Ether OS or just bought early access? Start here. This page covers what the OS is, what your early-access purchase includes, and exactly what to expect after checkout.

What HYVE Ether OS is

HYVE Ether OS is a desktop operating system built around AI agents as first-class citizens rather than apps you launch and quit. It is sovereign and agent-native: it runs entirely on your own hardware, keeps your data in an encrypted vault on your machine, and can run your AI workloads locally with no cloud LLM required. It sends no telemetry and does not phone home.

Under the hood it ships 48 technologies and is post-quantum encrypted by construction. HYVE LLM Creator connects 35+ model providers (you bring your own keys — HYVE never sees your password) and can also train your own models locally. The full feature tour is at /os, and you can try an in-browser facsimile of the shell at /try.

What early access gets you

Early access is a one-time $249.99 purchase — no subscription, no recurring charge. It gets you into the beta and entitles you to every update we ship during it. The price may rise toward public launch, and the final commercial product will be considerably more expensive.

The headline benefit is when: early-access members get into the beta now. The beta has been live since July 1, 2026, and members receive their access by email. The pricing rationale and the lifetime-lock commitment are detailed on the FAQ and in the terms.

What happens after you buy

Checkout takes card (Stripe) or crypto (Coinbase Commerce). Once your payment clears, the flow is:

  1. STEP 01
    You get a confirmation email with your receipt and your early-access license key. Keep this email — your password manager is the recommended home for the key.
  2. STEP 02
    Your early-access status is recorded against the email you used at checkout. You can review it any time from your account portal (sign in with a one-time magic link — no password to remember).
  3. STEP 03
    Now that the beta is live (since July 1, 2026), you receive a second email with your beta access and step-by-step install instructions. Your license key never expires, so there is no deadline to redeem it.

INSTALL FROM THE OFFICIAL EMAIL ONLY

The early-access beta went live on July 1, 2026: the OS is available to early-access members through the official access email you receive after your purchase clears. Only ever install HYVE Ether OS from that official link — anyone telling you to download and install it from anywhere else is not us.

Will it run on my machine?

HYVE Ether OS targets x86_64 desktops and laptops. The hardware page lists tested machines and the explicit minimums, and the FAQ covers dual-boot, virtual machines, and the current Apple Silicon situation. If your machine is on the unsupported list, hold off on early access until the matching roadmap phase.
