CIVIC SUITE · BUNDLE 14 + PRO PACK V2

A civic suite that respects you.

Fifteen civic surfaces inside HYVE Ether OS, designed for the citizen and the civil servant alike. Login.gov SSO, DD-214 vault, tax organizer, federal compliance hooks — all running on a sovereignty-default architecture where the relay endpoint is empty until you point it somewhere yourself.

SOVEREIGNTY DEFAULT · OPERATOR-CONTROLLED RELAY

HYVE_RELAY_URL is operator-controlled and defaults to empty. The OS will not reach any relay endpoint — civic, federal, marketplace, or otherwise — unless you point it at one. Civic and federal adopters can route relay traffic at customer-owned infrastructure, with customer-managed encryption keys.

Five things shipping in the current build.

Each landed in Bundle 14 + Pro Pack v2 (2026-05-08).

Login.gov OIDC + PKCE

Native federal SSO. The standard authentication flow for U.S. federal civic services, integrated end-to-end without a third-party broker.

DD-214 Vault

Veteran service records stored locally, encrypted with vault-derived keys. Pair with the Veteran surface for benefits navigation.

Tax Organizer (1099 / W-2)

Encrypted local organizer for tax documents. Never uploaded to a third-party tax service unless you export explicitly.

Federal Compliance Installer

Phased installer at /opt/hyve/fed-compliance/ for civic and federal adopters — opt-in audit forwarding, SBOM attestation, agency registration.

Operator-Controlled Relay

HYVE_RELAY_URL defaults to empty. The OS reaches a relay only when you point it at one. Civic deployments can target customer-owned infrastructure.

META SURFACE · UMBRELLA

Civic

The umbrella surface that ties the fourteen civic sub-surfaces together. One nav, one identity, one vault — every civic interaction lives in one place on your machine.

Fourteen sub-surfaces.

Each surface is a first-class part of the OS — its own iconography, its own keyboard shortcut, its own slot in the universal search.

Tax

Local-first organizer for W-2, 1099, and other tax documents. Encrypted with vault-derived keys; never auto-uploaded to a tax service unless you export explicitly.

Veteran

Benefits navigation, claim filing, and the DD-214 records vault. Login.gov SSO into VA services where supported.

Identity (Civil)

Civic identity layer for verified citizen interactions — separate from operator identity, opt-in, signed by Login.gov where available.

Records

Public-records search, request, and archival. Helps you assemble FOIA requests and track responses with citation trails.

Civil Servant

First-class surface for the people running these systems on the other side. Case management primitives that respect the same sovereignty model citizens get.

Compliance Helper

Walks you through applicable compliance regimes (HIPAA, FERPA, CJIS, FedRAMP) and shows what HYVE controls map to what requirement. Read-only; never makes claims on your behalf.

Community

Local community resources — shelters, food banks, free clinics, civic events. Pulls from open civic data where published.

Emergency

Quick-access emergency information — local emergency contacts, evacuation routes, ICE forms, allergies, medications. Works offline.

Health

Personal health records vault and benefits navigation. Encrypted; you decide what gets exported when a provider asks.

Legal

Legal-aid resources, common civic forms, and document organization for hearings. Not a substitute for counsel, but a real tool for navigating without it.

Discover

Civic-services discovery — finds the federal, state, and local programs you may qualify for, by jurisdiction. No tracking, no profile sold to anyone.

Translate

Civic-form and civic-correspondence translation in dozens of languages, on-device where the model fits, BYO-cloud where it does not.

Small Biz

Small-business compliance organizer — licenses, registrations, sales tax filings, employee documentation. Civic-side companion to the rest of your operating environment.

Student

Financial aid navigation, FERPA-aware document storage, transcript management. Designed for the student doing this for themselves, not for an institution.

PROFESSIONAL LIGHT · PROFESSIONAL DARK

Themed for the room.

Government desks and enterprise security operations centers do not look like a hacker's basement. The Professional Light and Professional Dark themes ship as part of Pro Pack v2 — sixty-six unique surface icons each, full glyph-on-tile coverage, slate accents on white-ish or near-black backgrounds. The shell is the same; the dress is different. Themed screenshots will appear here once the OS team sends the asset slice.

Built on the same patent-pending substrate.

The Civic Suite inherits everything that makes HYVE Ether OS different: post-quantum encryption on the bus, deterministic decision orchestration via Omega, hardware kill switches at the kernel module level, Reed-Solomon shard recovery for archives, and twenty-two patent-pending technologies behind the stack. Civic buyers get the same sovereignty story consumer buyers get — with the additional civic-specific features above.

See /security for the full security posture and /patents for the complete patent-pending list.

FOUNDING ACCESS · CLOSES OCTOBER 1, 2026

Civic adoption starts with founding access.

Civic-specific Wave 3 endpoints (agency self-registration, audit forwarding, multi-tenant isolation) ship between July and August 2026. Founding-access purchase today secures the same locked $499 price for life, plus first-look builds during the Bundle 14+ release cadence.
